   (e) what do you mean by wave particle duality of nature .
  (f)what is principle of virtual work explain it.

Q2. deduce the Schrodingerr's time dependent and time dependent equation for matter wave. explain the physical significance of wave function ¥.
Q3.explain Coriolis and centrifugal forces mention their simple application and obtain an explicit expression for each of them.
Q4. explain Hamilton principle and use it to deduce Ham Linton equation for holonomic constraints system .
Q5.what do you mean by group and velocity is establish relation between them?

Q8.Give an account of B.E. DISTRIBUTION LAW and discuss is applications to liquid Helium .

    (c)distinguish between metal insulator and semiconductor.
    (d)discuss the BH curve of Steel and soft iron.
    (e)distinguish between amorphous and crystalline materials .
    (f) what do you mean by Brilloun zones?

Q2.state Weizsacker semi empirical mass formula. Discuss the physical meaning of each term involved in this formula.
Q3 what is betaTron? describe the principle of its construction and working of it.
 Q4.describe a GM counter and explain its working and . draw a typical characteristics curve of a GM tube and discuss it .
Q5.what are the Cosmic Rays showers? explain cascade theory of origin of cosmic Ray.

 Q6. state and explain the term thermal and electrical conductivity of metals and established Widemann-Franz relation between them.
 Q7. what is hall effect? obtain an expression for hall Coefficient and its experimental determination.
Q8.what is reciprocal lattices? Show that the  BCC lattice is reciprocal of fcc lattice.
Q9. Mention main feature of ferromagnetic substance. discuss the WEISS theory of ferromagnetism.

    (d) explain the phenomenon of population inversion and optical pumping.
    (e) mention some important application of laser.
    (f) distinguish between term isotope and isobar.

Q2.what is meant by thermionic emissions? drive Richardson Dushman equation and give its experimental support .
Q3. describe the main feature of alkali spectra how they are explain?
 Q4. what is paschen back effect? give the theory of this effect and illustrate its taking the example of energy level associated with D transition sodium.
 Q5.what do you mean by LS and JJ coupling ? explain comperision between them.

Q6. obtain expression for rotational energy level of diatomic molecules considering it is a rigid rotor.
 Q7. give the theory of vibrational spectra of diatomic molecules and SHOW the energy level are equally spaced.

 Q9.  describe Helium neon gas laser. how is population inversion  in this type of laser ?mention advantage of gas LASER over a solid-state  laser.
